Question 1: Do you believe that there is only one way to Heaven?

Answer: Yes!  The belief that there is only one way to Heaven is based on an absolute belief in the truth of God’s Holy Word.  In John 14:6, Jesus tells us the following: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”  Jesus does not say that He will tell them the way, or that He will show us the way, or that He will lead them in the way – He says that He is the way!  He also does not say that He is one of many ways – He says that He is THE WAY (i.e. the ONLY way).  He is the only way that we can be reconciled with God is through Jesus Christ.  He is the only door to eternal life and Heaven.  In Acts 4:12, God’s Word tells us Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”  The only name for salvation is Jesus Christ!  Additionally, there is no place in the Bible where it says that the church you belong to (or your baptism, your works, your denomination, etc.) can get you to Heaven.  The reason that Jesus can say that He is the only way to Heaven is because He paid for our sins on the cross by shedding His own blood (Hebrews 9:22b).
