WHAT MAN SAYS vs. WHAT GOD SAYS
By William R. Newell

2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of
the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus
Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the
works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. |

What fearful folly to dream
that God will treat you, the sinner differently from Christ, the Sin-Bearer;
God must judge sin, and He has judged it, at the cross! Go into bankruptcy at once, as a lost sinner,
and rely on the shed blood of the only Redeemer! God cannot lie! He has said: “To him that worketh
not; but believeith on Him that justifieth
the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness” (Romans 4:5)
