Faith in Action
Our “Faith In Action” outreach program is designed to help us to both minister to the needs within our own church fellowship and reach out to others in ministry.
There are many areas of service to choose from:
-Absentee Visits
-Prayer Room
-Church Repairs
-Small Home Repairs
-Door-To-Door Witnessing
-Phone Calls (local missionaries, shut-ins, absentees, sick, new members, etc.)
-New Member Visits
-New Move-In Visits
-Shut-in/Homebound Visitation
-Food Preparation
-Food Delivery
-Nursing Home Visitation
The 2nd and 4th Thursday nights of each month (with the exception of July and December) will be our “Faith In Action Nights”. There will be no “Faith In Action” during the monts of July and December. We will meet at the church at 6:00 P.M. and share a meal together. (Please be sure to sign up on the Faith In Action board each week so that we know how much food to prepare.) Then, from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., each person will carry out their chosen area of service for that night.
Our Faith In Action ministry also encompasses our “Love North Olmsted” ministry. A couple of times a year, we get together on a Saturday to go out and show our love to older people in our community by helping them with such things as yard work, small home repairs, cleaning, etc. that they would normally be unable to do themselves.
